DAY FOUR!

ok. my emotion scale is going downhill by today.
lunch i had rice with boiled chickedn, steamed eggs and a single piece of tofu with minced meat!

kinda healthy. didn't eat dinner today though. I guess my stomach space has shrunk after 3 days. Haha. Or maybe it's just a psychological thing. I don't know. (; Ok...I guess that's all for now. Cya all soon! ((((;

DAY THREEEEEE

Lunch was rice with some random boiled vegetables and chicken.
Dinner was half a bowl of fish slice soup...
Supper was a sandwich with mushrooms and chicken!

Will be updating with pictures! Meanwhile, omg, let me whine. I can't take it! The smell and temptation of fried and oily stuff are JUST. TOO. DIFFICULT. TO. RESIST. DDDDD;
I had a hard time convincing myself that I CANNOT take any of those food! OMG. And nope, didn't give in to temptations! YAY! ;D and yeah, 2 and a half more weeks. Gonna TRYYY TRYYY AND TRYYYYY HARDERRRRR!!! RARRRR!

Meanwhile, I was becoming a lil grouchy...I think its because I haven't been taking in any comfort food for a good 3 day already. So...heh. Some emotion change! ALRIGHT! Meanwhile, I'm plotting a graph of like...emotions. Hmmm, let's hope we'll achieve some kinda pattern from this (graph) ok! ;DDD

Ok, here's day three reflection, after lunch.

DAY TWO DIET

WOOHOO!
had mee sua with meatballs!

dinner was bread and cherry tomatoes!! ;D

milk for dessert!

Because I had an early dinner (like 6 plus pm), my stomach started calling out for help. Opened a packet of soya milk for dessert, a vast difference from the usual hall supper I always binge on - food like instant noodles, etc.

Ok. Time for bed.

DAY ONE DIET

So...this is day one.
Erm...had a subway sandwich for lunch and vegetarian food for dinner. I'm still mentality sound and my body didn't break down. I didn't pig out on snacks (YAY!). So yeah! Day one is a success so far!

Got a Turkey Breast sandwich with lots of vegetable toppings (apart from chili and onions). Oh. And I had a cup of barley.
Well ok. That was about 12pm, after Graphic Design class.

This is dinner for the day, vegetarian meat, assorted veg and rice. There were some cauliflowers, broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts and potatoes.
mmm, yummy.
and to top it all off, I had an apple for dessert! (;

And so, a reflection after dinner.

INTRODUCTION

Hello all.

An introduction to this current project I'm working on. Basically, I’m working towards the area of diet in relation to the emotions, mental stability and physical well being in general of human. I feel that food affects each and every part of our lives. For example, living life without certain food component such as sugar or carbohydrates will decrease the work effectiveness of one as sugar and broken down glucose gives an individual some sense of satisfaction and a pump of happiness, which might be short-lived or long, depending on the chemicals present in the body. This will also affect the person’s mood of the day and in turn affect his work progress and production level. Food is also a necessity in life, aside water. However, too much food can cause sicknesses and unnecessary consequences such as landing up in a hospital or even death. Reduced food diet is highly recommended in the current times as more and more people are into the healthy living trend. More green and less fats have been implanted in the diets of many urbanized working adults.

My take on this project is to test out the different diets that are present within the lives of the university students in NTU, be it vegetarian, strict all green and fish/chicken diet, all meat or all fibre diet. This experiment will be carried out through out 3 weeks and each week, I’ll be looking into different diets and trying them out. Documentations will be taken each day to note the mood change and work effectiveness. The final outcome of the project will be determined further down the progress of the project. Meanwhile, research of different diets on people will be done and interviews will be conducted on different ages with different diets.
